Heidi is a self taught artist that is currently inspired by the Australian landscape and draws upon the imagery from her adventures across the country. She uses her intuition to balance texture with earthy tones and pops of brightness. 

Heidi originally studied art and has returned to her passion following a 14-year corporate career. She has been practising daily for the past 4 years and enjoys the solitude and creativity of her studio amongst a busy family life with her husband and two young kids. 

This piece ‘Above the clouds’ is full of joy and is the result of surrendering to the abstract process and letting her intuition take over. Heidi has used oil paints, acrylic paint and oil pastels to create the depth of colour.
