Sitting at a legendary cafe in Fingal, Northern NSW. I was taken by the composition, colour and feeling of these flowers and river. I instantly had to get some reference sketches and photographs and make it a painting
About the Artist:
Dylan Cooper is an Australian artist who is currently based in the vibrant city of Toowoomba, located in Queensland. After enjoying a successful and fulfilling career as a chef, he made a significant decision to shift his focus towards his passion for art, ultimately graduating in the year 2012. In his creative practice, he primarily utilizes both acrylic and oil paints while drawing profound inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds him. His deep-seated love for nature, particularly the mesmerizing ocean, greatly influences the land and seascapes he skillfully creates, often employing impressionistic styles that convey emotion and atmosphere.
