A modern take on the joy and colour of the more traditional fruit still life. Using vintage inspired colours like that pop of teal in the background, and the fruits are almost celebrated being front and centre to the work.
About the Artist:
Jody Rigby, an emerging self taught Sydney artist, produces classic still life works with saturated hues and creates form with texture. With a passion for antiques and past career in horticulture, her work features utilitarian vessels and simple florals that would be at home in a country kitchen or moody hall.
