Tree Stories brings together the distinct practices of Alice Kulbat and Catherine Nguyen-Hoang in an exhibition that reflects on perception, memory, and the quiet poetry of everyday forms.

About the Artists:

Kulbat’s landscapes are attentive studies of environment and atmosphere, where trees emerge as anchors within shifting terrains—markers of time, weather, and presence. Her paintings invite viewers into expansive yet intimate spaces, where observation becomes a way of holding onto place.

In contrast, Nguyen-Hoang’s still life compositions focus on glass jars filled with carefully folded paper origami. These contained, delicate arrangements suggest acts of preservation and transformation, where fragile forms are gathered, protected, and given new meaning within transparent boundaries.
