Original Artwork

20.5 x 26.5cm | Oil on board | Framed in Tasmanian oak | Ready to hang

About the Artwork:

Fabric often appears in my still lifes, a nod to what may have been an equal first love alongside painting. Both things handed down to me by grandmother. These days I don't sew so much, but I found this vintage piece of striped cotton in my stash, and the colours made a nice combination for some late garden pears, and a favourite ceramic bowl.

About the Artist:

A largely self-taught approach to painting Jo experimented with a number of mediums before falling in love with the rich colour and textural possibilities of oil paint. Jo lives in the small coastal township along the Great Ocean Road, where the beautiful natural environment informs much of her landscape work but as a keen gardener, Jo also has a love of still life that documents her home-grown flowers, fruit and carefully collected household items.

Free shipping on purchases over $500 in Australia (excludes oversized items).

Shipping will be calculated at checkout for International orders, Under $500 ($25) and oversized items ($300).

We aim to dispatch all orders within 7 business days.
