Sarah McCollough

Sarah McCullough (b. 2005) is a young emerging artist based in Sydney, Australia. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Visual Arts at the University of Sydney (SCA).

She has most recently featured in ARTEXPRESS 2024 for her artwork ‘Fragility of Life’ at Tamworth and Cowra Regional Galleries as well as ARTEXPRESS Virtual Galleries. ARTEXPRESS is in recognition of HSC excellence where students have achieved high standards in Visual Arts. She has recently exhibited in ‘Life in Colour’ at Tyger Gallery in Yass and her inaugural art exhibition 'Coastal Reflections' August 2024 at Clifton School of Arts as well as 'On the Road Again...' August 2025 at Clifton School of Arts. As well as this Sarah has featured in Hazelhurst Art and Design Market and The Affordable Art Fair Sydney with Tyger Gallery as well as Upcoming events - the Reimagined Toowoomba Grammar Art Show 2026 and The Affordable Art Fair Brisbane with Tyger Gallery.

Sarah has a passion for the Australian landscape, with a particular focus on its rich flora and fauna, which are intricately woven into her artistic practice. Through her artmaking, she reflects on her love for the South Coast of NSW, drawing inspiration from the vibrant natural beauty of the coastline and its bush surroundings.
Through her practice, Sarah aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia, joy, and connection to nature, inviting viewers to pause and notice the beauty in their surroundings. Her distinctive style, both contemporary and deeply rooted in place, has resonated with collectors across New South Wales, where she has exhibited in solo and group shows.
