Kobie Bosch
My infatuation with nature and interiors meet on the canvas in finely tuned compositions. The intention is to create places of beauty, wholeness, and boundless imagination. You will often find a jabiru or saddle-billed stork wading across a formal lounge, or a flamingo dosing off on a staircase. I work in oil paints to create a visual narrative that presents a settling of the external in the internal. A joyful cohabitation of the domestic and the natural world.
Career highlights include being a finalist in The Mosman Art Prize, Stanthorpe Art Prize, Gosford Art Prize, The National Capital Art Prize, Hornsby Art Prize and Waverley Art prize. A standout was being a finalist (highly commended) in THE NEXT BIG THING art prize, Toowoomba Art Gallery, Queensland.
