Original Artwork
76 x76 | Acrylic on canvas | Unframed | Ready to hang
About the Artwork:
This lively still life combines rich floral textures with rhythmic surface patterns. Featuring a rustic, patterned vessel filled with proteas, daisies, and native blossoms, the artwork contrasts warm terracotta and floral tones against a cool blue backdrop and patterned table surfaces.
About the Artist:
Susan's subject matter is primarily landscapes and Australian birds but has been known to dabble in still life as well. She works mainly in acrylic paint but has used mixed media such as gouache, watercolour pencils, ink, pencil and charcoal in the past.

About the Artist
Susan's subject matter is primarily landscapes and Australian birds. She uses these subjects to explore the many and varied different colours, shapes and forms that exist in both. That is why her style is constantly changing. Susan works mainly in acrylic paint but has used mixed media such as gouache, watercolour pencils, ink, pencil and charcoal in the past. Influences include Australian landscape artists such as Arthur Boyd and Brett Whitely, post impressionism and photography.
