About the Artwork:
I’ve always been drawn to the character and charm of small wooden boats. They bring to mind slower carefree days out in the fresh air. This painting is part of an ongoing series about small boats and simple pleasures. My studio sits near the Noosa river and I enjoy wandering along, reading the names of the boats and choosing which one I’d adopt.
