About the Artwork:

This abstract painting tells a story of good days out in the fresh air and sunshine. On a recent trip to Stradbroke Island we accidentally booked a screen-free house with no reception. Forced to slow down, time moved more gently and we soaked up all the simple pleasures. I sketched a lot and penciled up the concept for this painting. There are fragments of stories within the painting which I have left open for the viewer to interpret and make their own.
