Description

Original Artwork

33 x 33cm | Acrylic and oil stick on canvas | Framed in black stained timber | Ready to hang

About the Artwork:

This work is based on another farm story I was told, this one is a bit darker but sometimes in the wake of a flood all you can do is try to laugh. A large storm had a pretty damaging effect on the surrounding farms and an unfortunate casualty of this (i've named him Jim) was carried downstream passing two other cattle who were apparently very confused by this sight. I was curious about this as subject matter for a painting. I wonder if cows get confused by this type of thing? Sorry Jim, you'll be missed.
