About the Artwork:
I like thinking about the little moments that happen in a country as vast as ours, the little interactions that go unseen by people...or in this case the ones that will never be seen again. There's something mystical about the history of the Tasmanian Tigers...mystical but tragic. An instant like this may have happened long ago, a tiger seeing the last of its kind across the river, walking into the distance, to be lost to time, vanishing. I wonder what else we will lose in the future. (Dont worry, I know they're not actually dogs)
