About the Artwork:
I hear people around where I live speak about the extreme weather they encounter on a day to day basis. One moment it's flooding the next it's bone dry for weeks on end. There never seems to be a happy medium, I guess that why after a while all you can do is try and laugh at it. This work reflects some of the funny stories I hear shared about those times. I wonder if cows view whats left of a dried up Dam like an oasis in the desert?
About the Artist:
Sam is a Western Sydney based artist, practicing for over 10 years. Primarily focusing on landscape as subject matter Sam explores the diverse Australian environment, its colours, shapes, textures, patterns and the stories and memories of this place and the people within it.
