Description

Original Artwork

78.5 x 104cm | Acrylic and oil stick on canvas | Framed in black stained timber | Ready to hang

About the Artwork:

I hear stories about cattle from neighbouring farms and how they interact with one another. In this case each morning two cows would continually walk up to the top of a hill in each paddock and just seemingly greet each other from there. Neither farmer could explain why they did this, perhaps it was just a morning ritual? a polite cow gesture? Maybe they were just discussing the sunrise. Either way, it's a beautiful thing to think about.
Whilst a standalone artwork, this piece works beautifully as a diptych with Sam Patterson-Smith - Dawn on the Hills No.1. (Diptych)
