Nicole McPherson - Immortalised
Original Artwork
103 x 103cm | Acrylic on board | Framed in Oak | Ready to hang
About the Artwork:
When the one who protects, cares for, holds up and nourishes you is ‘captured’ and revered – whether in a photo, a ‘stamp’ or a piece of nostalgia. Remembering to remember those who serve you and care for all around them – including nature and our earth. Perhaps a capture of ‘mother nature’.
About the Artist:
Nicole McPherson is an abstract and figurative artist, based in Brisbane, Australia. Her work is bright and ‘loud’ and layered, and predominately about faces and color and mood. Initially drawn to figurative work, because of her keen interest in human expression, she’s morphed her style from realism to abstract expressionism. This fits well alongside her purely abstract pieces – and you will often find a meshing of both forms in her works.
This piece will be available at The Sorytellers Group Exhibition, beginning July 31.
Shipping within Australia is free on works over $500 (excluding oversized pieces).
