About the Artwork:
Beyond the Ridge explores the quiet longing for exploration and connection—the pull towards winding mountain paths, sweeping valleys, and the restorative calm found in nature. It reflects those moments of wandering without urgency, where the landscape invites you to pause, breathe, and simply take it all in . This artwork is filled with memories of moments with special ones , using my expressive palette knife marks to create a sense of movement across the canvas, echoing the contours of the land.
