From Katherine: I love to capture sunlight in different moments and create hyper coloured landscapes. Nature provides these illuminating colours, I just like to instinctively paint them in a light of warmth. Sometimes I instantly know the colours, sometimes I’m searching for that colour harmony that makes the canvas sing what I am feeling. It is like using a language I had not known I knew. The result is rather whimsical and dream-like, but there is a true authenticity in the way light falls to the paintings and makes a powerful statement.
