'I find profound beauty in the simplicity of still life, where flowers and everyday objects transform into vessels of emotion and narrative. In this piece I was drawn to depict the beautiful pink Waratah as they grow in abundance in my surroundings which gives me a sense of home and belonging'
About the Artist:
Born in Malta, Kate Vella is an emerging artist living in Robertson NSW. Largely self-taught, Kate works in acrylics and paints the things she knows most intimately, capturing the beauty of native flowers and natural landscapes.
