About the Artwork:
This work evokes precious childhood memories. Growing up on a farm we collected fresh eggs daily and fruit from the orchard, and there were always vases with flowers we grew in the cottage garden.
About the Artist:
Born in Malta, Kate Vella is an emerging artist living in Robertson NSW. Largely self-taught, Kate works in acrylics and paints the things she knows most intimately, capturing the beauty of native flowers and natural landscapes.
