Felicity is an Australian contemporary artist whose work is inspired by the vast beauty of the Australian landscape. Influenced strongly by her upbringing in the outback, Felicity’s current work highlights the beauty of the Australian landscape and the importance of the livestock who belong there. While much of her work reflects the natural world, her aerial landscape paintings are created from imagination and memories, brought to life through Felicity’s unique perspective rather than direct observation. These pieces allow her to blend reality with imagination, playing with light, shadow, and movement to create dynamic, evocative works that tell the stories of land and livestock. Through each painting, Felicity aims to capture the emotional connection between the land, livestock and the people who live there. She invites viewers to experience what it means to live in the country, creating scenes that resonate with the sense of belonging that shapes rural life.
