About the Artist
Adele Bevacqua is a Brisbane-based artist who specialises in heavily textured abstract expressionist paintings, with a focus on large-format pieces. Adele's passion for vibrant colours, a discovery during time living in India, shines through in her emotional and immersive pieces which are full of light, movement and connection.
Adele has shown work in group exhibitions in Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. In 2021, her works ‘Lady Rose’ and ‘Another Storm’ were shortlisted in the Online Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Online Art Award, and in 2023 she was a finalist in the 40under40 art prize and the Lane Cove Art Awards.
Awards aside, nothing makes Adele more excited than creating beautiful paintings that make people feel happy and at home.
