Original Artwork
28 x 28cm | Oil on board | Framed in Tasmanian oak | Ready to hang
About the Artwork:
It was tricky to capture all the different fabrics and ranges of light colour in these three things hanging on the line in the orchard. One is a slightly beige linen towel tea towel, one a bright white linen euro pillow case and the other a vintage embroidered pillow case. They all had different tones and shadows in the dappled light.
About the Artist:
Simone Hale paints intimate still lifes and everyday scenes with a focus on light, texture and quiet domestic moments. Her oil paintings bring warmth and attention to familiar objects, gardens and rural life.
This piece will be available to purchase in person at the Sydney Affordable Art Fair November 5-8, 2026. Works will be made available online from 12noon Sunday November 8.
