Jonathan Osmond is a Newcastle based abstract artist whose expressive acrylic paintings explore resilience, memory and transformation. Working intuitively through layers of colour, texture and gesture, his practice balances raw emotion with considered composition, creating works that invite personal interpretation. Jonathan has exhibited across Australia and is represented by galleries in Newcastle, Melbourne and Queensland. His work has been selected as a finalist in the Hunter Emerging Art Prize and has featured in numerous group exhibitions. Through each painting, he seeks to create spaces where energy, vulnerability and hope coexist.
