About the Artist
Jessica is a full time artist based in Sydney with her husband and two sons.
Working primarily in oils and specialising in still life and figurative compositions, Jessica utilises her knowledge of fabric, design, and colour, working collectively to inspire her artwork.
With a previous career in fashion design, production, and styling, her knowledge and passion for composition and detail are woven into her artistic sense and subject matter. Florals and fabrics are reoccurring themes in her still life compositions, with Jessica composing moods of beauty through colour palettes in considered tablescapes.
Awarded the Sir William Dobell scholarship by the Julian Ashton Art School in 2015, Jessica completed her diploma of Fine Art in 2016.
Jessica has been selected as a finalist in several notable art awards including the A.M.E. Bale drawing prize, Gallipoli art prize, Kennedy prize, EMSLA, winner of the Salon De refuses BPP, and most recently a semi finalist in the Doug Moran Portrait Prize.
Jessica has also participated in many group shows nationally, and is currently working on a body of work for a solo show 2022.
