Dear M, D, F and V, Looking back, I don't actually remember most of the things I folded as a child. I couldn't tell you where the paper stars ended up or what happened to the cranes and balloons I kept in jars. What I do remember is sitting beside your Ông and Bà, learning fold after fold, and feeling impossibly proud whenever something flat became something I could hold. Funny how it's never really the paper we remember—it's the people sitting beside us. Love always, Mummy xo
