Elizabeth was born in Grafton on the Clarence River at Grafton NSW and her artwork is inspired by her relentless travelling, having lived in Sydney, Florence, London, Hobart, and Brisbane.

In Italy, Elizabeth is based in Florence where she is a member of the prestigious L'Armadillo AssociazioneCulturale. In Florence in December 2018, Elizabeth held a very successful major exhibition of her Australian work, reflecting for her local friends the experiences and beauty of what is from their perspective, her other life her in the Southern Highlands. On this trip, she also taught a master class to Italian artists.

Elizabeth’s works are held in private and corporate collections throughout Australia, Europe and America. Liz has work in archive at the National Gallery of Australia in the collections from Impress – Regenerate Folio Box - the inaugural collection, Animalia I and II.

Liz was invited to take part in the celebration of Morandi’s life exhibition in Bologna, Italy, and has also exhibited in Arte in Movementi in Perugia, Italy. She also has work in the following permanent public collections and museums: Exhibition of the Americas Biennale (University of Iowa USA), the Naestved International Exhibition of Contemporary Prints in Denmark, Estampe Belgium and the Art Museum at Nyíracsad Hungary, several GreendoorInternational Print Exhibitions in Derbry, United Kingdom. Liz has been invited to exhibit her work in London, Hong Kong and Cyprus as well as a solo exhibition in Denmark.
